Antique Vintage Rochester Room Thermometer Free Standing Spiral Stand

Vintage Rochester Room Thermometer. This is free standing with a spiral design with detailed waves in the spiral. The red ball at the outer end of the spiral is still present though worn with age and dull in color. The thermometer looks to be functional, but can not guarantee accuracy. I've seen others with patent pending, but this one says "Pat. 1926808" Rochester Manufacturing Co. Inc. Rochester, N.Y. The base is two-toned, silver and black. There are red words on the black piece, can't really decipher for sure, but looks to be "Wards Bowlers". Must be a business name or something. The silver is age worn, with the green spots on it, which makes me think its chrome, and some rust as well. The bottom of the base has a fabric piece to help prevent damage to the surface it was set on. It looks to be the original fabric, and it peeling and rolling in on itself. The glass of the thermometer is cloudy, but still lets you see the inside accurately. It stands about about 4.5" tall and the spiral is 4 1/4" wide, with the base being 3" in diameter. Overall, this piece is pretty clean and well kept for the age. Please refer to pictures as they are part of item description. Please note we do not calculate shipping.
