We're selling a very nice group of antique Tobacco Felts and silks, fresh from local collector. Original tobacco flannels or felts like these were popular in the early 1900's, and given as premiums with tobacco purchases. The smaller ones were included with the purchase; the larger ones were ordered through the mail. Many were used to make colorful quilts and other piece work. Some are now used as dollhouse rugs as well!
This listing features a set of 6 assorted Country  Flag felts. These are the desirable larger size, they measure between 10" X 8" and 10" x 12". Condition is very good to excellent.  The patterns vary with each country. The countries are the Netherlands, Mexico, Italy, The United States (48 stars)  Germany, and Greece.
