Vintage Reverse Silhouette Fireplace Scene Thermometer Otto G Brenneman LaFontaine, Indiana metal framed picture. Made by Newton Mfg Co of Newton, Iowa.
While the glass and thermometer are in good condition, there is overall condition issues. Some watermark staining on the picture and the back. Some color loss and some wrinkles on the picture. The clear areas of the figures in the picture, the black backing while there looks wrinkled. The metal frame also shows some finish wear but is solid. Not sure what the circular piece was for on the bottom of the frame. May have held a calendar at one time. Measures about 4"x5". With all of this said, still a survivor.
